I had these!

I've got no photos of me in those boots, but I did wear them with this coat (am I painting a pictcha?) and I certainly did some shante-ing and sashaying.

  1. You look like you are being terrorized by that trotter! Who is that horse and driver and why are you posing with them?

  2. Surely those boots must be illegal in some states.

  3. You HAD? I mean, you don't just throw things like those away ... or bring them to the Goodwill ...

  4. stu: the trotter was one of my father's. he dabbled in that & lost everything. i was never drawn to equine things, kind of afraid. i think the horse had jumped and it startled me. i turned and tried to comfort it. the steam coming off horsey looks odd too.

donna: oh, if i had what i threw out, how happy i'd be! i've spent years replacing garbage, just so i could hold it once more.

  6. since you mention it, i have to expound.....

i loved that coat. back then, it seemed everyone was wearing that SAME OLD solid dark navy long coat. i mean everyone. i was determined to find something different and find it i did. i think the store was howard clothes and i know it was in the not glamorous westgate mall in not glamorous brockton. i do cringe when i think about the blue, gray & white bells i often wore. oy vey, i was a vision.

  8. While I didn't have the boots, (and am I jealous)I did have the ecru wide whale Fiorucci corduroys he's wearing with them. Wish the hell I had those back. Skin tight. Soft as butter.

Oh, and my what a big horse you have!

  9. jason...new orleans? what?

felix...i had white fiorucci jeans. they were stiff. they were cool. they are gone. (sob). i do have a large fiorucci can which i thankfully did not throw out.

and leave the size of my horse out of this!
