REVELATION

Yes, Muscato & Jason
(who commented at precisely the same moment) are correct.
This is in fact the once magnificent Claudia Cardinale.

I know I'm shallow, but when I came upon that current shot,
it floored me. I recall a old friend telling me that Italians don't age well. I feel I may have begged to differ with him, but in this case...
***
Of course, I do give dear Claudia a standing
ovation for letting time cum all over her and she
resisting the urge to wipe that time off.

  1. Ouch. I wish I had been wrong. For her sake.

  2. I'm always late to these things, and I would have been wrong with my guess of Gina Lollobridida. Is she even still alive?

  5. Totally unrelated, sorry: I receive a warning from my browser when I enter your site, saying that there would be malware in your site. I use a new chromium-derivate (without the calling home functions of chrome) and never had this message before. It says basically that there would be malicious code by something called whatever (I forgot, sorry) "-trader.com". I do not know what to make out of this.

Anyway: Would you be so kind and show a pic of Alvie and Mouse? I need to see them - please!

  6. It's not a warning about inappropriate content, but about malware, dangerous software.

  7. Hello Norma - I have asked the official Infomaniac IT consultant about the malware warning, and he says that it is an ultra cautious warning related to one thing in your right sidebar: As long as visitors do not click on this special item there is no need for worry whatsoever.
I am sorry for having created any troubles or worries! There is NO need to worry!
And thank YOU very much for the pics of the adorable boys!

    1. you were sweet to go to the trouble, thank you.

so now the big question is, what is this thing in my sidebar?
were you given any ideas? what i'm getting at is, i would remove it.
of course, that might not solve the problem.

    2. I may cite the official Infomaniac IT consultant:

"The "bringatrailer . com" is a link in the sidebar labeled "BaT - The best vintage and classic cars for sale online." So, if you don't click it, there is no worry."

    3. If I may interject into this unique-in-history "Claudia Cardinale/malware" conversation, it seems the issue may be with a Google ad, not with mitten drinnen. I use Firefox with Ad-blocker, and none of these problems ever occur, and humbly suggest this as an option... Jx

    4. actually, mago is correct. lately, when i visit bringatrailer, i have been getting that warning. it hadn't occurred to me to put 2 + 2 together.

jon, the claudia cardinale-malware-bringatrailer conundrum is a first. personally, i never saw it coming.
