REVELATION

Yes, Muscato & Jason
(who commented at precisely the same moment) are correct.
This is in fact the once magnificent Claudia Cardinale.

I know I'm shallow, but when I came upon that current shot,
it floored me. I recall a old friend telling me that Italians don't age well. I feel I may have begged to differ with him, but in this case...
***
Of course, I do give dear Claudia a standing
ovation for letting time cum all over her and she
resisting the urge to wipe that time off.

Muscato for Christine Jorgensen

The always brilliant Muscato answered the not
so mysterious mystery not only spot on,
but fabulously, so I thought it deserved top billing.

"I know, I know!

However, I have to say that when I saw the thumbnail
small version of the image over on my blogroll,
my first guess was the Meadows sisters, Audrey and Jayne.

And all else I'll say is that is indeed the estimable
Mr. Pierce on the right. He's accompanied by a remarkable creature whose emergence into the spotlight could have been marked by the tagline so often associated with Anne Boleyn - "the chop heard 'round the world"

(Maybe this should have been labelled, BEFORE - DURING - AFTER)

Dontcha just love this tweaked Obama poster?

Sally Eilers, for Muscato

taken from Richard Lamparski's, "Whatever Became of...?"

..."During the last years of her life serious illness and heavy drinking curtailed her socializing, yet her behavior remained outlandish and her language seemed to worsen. She lived with her two yorkies in a house in Beverly Hills until her death on January 5, 1978."

I imagine Butch had no trouble keeping up with Sally's mouth.
