This may be an urban legend, but who cares.
TEACHER READING DOWN HER CLASS ROLL AND COMES TO A NAME THAT STYMIES HER. SHE ATTEMPTS TO PRONOUNCE IT, SAYS, " LA...AH?" PUPIL PIPES UP AND SAYS, WITH A HINT OF ATTITUDE, "IT'S LADASHA."
HER NAME WAS SPELLED, LA-A.

ReplyDeleteLet me put this rumor to rest right now...LA-A is a good solid Southern name!
ReplyDeleteActually sweet, LaDasha is spelled La-a, not La_a.
