oh Miss Bankhead, we used to go to her grave in Maryland and toast on her birthday with gin. Such a broad.
Now I have to go there. It's just on the other side of the bay.
i hope i too can get there one day.
Just outside of Chestertown, in a church cemetery, as far from the church as possible. Seems her brother had connections. The lake nearby may be a cesspool. Cheers.
THAT is exactly why she is such a role-model for us all... Jx
that's right, now go wipe yourselfand put some downy in that first machine.
And you never ever ever hear a dull Tallulah story.
she wouldn't allow it.
"Looking for Tennessee Williams, dahling? You'll find him at the bottom of a bottle." ~ Tallu
she & tenn were neighbors.
Brown Liquor Lowlands?
I think that there are plenty of people ('round here at least), that would gladly scoop up that gazelle shit...
ah, to have been one of her infamous caddies!
You know, that shot looks rather like Tennessee in a wig.
"why, thank you," said tenn!
I was disappointed to click on the "gazelles" tag and find nothing else in the archives. Can we expect more?
hopefully, expectations will be met.
I often travel through the older Bankhead tunnel when in Mobile Ala. Named for her father, I like to think that I'm traveling through Tallulah's old tunnel instead.
one can only hope there's an automatic car wash at the exit.
I think she stayed too long at the fair.
Please, we're all ears!
