IT'S A 1970 ELECTRA CONVERTIBLE.
NO DOUBT SHE TOOK EXQUISITE CARE OF THIS MOTOR CAR.
I THINK SHE AUTOGRAPHED THE TITLE.
WONDER IF SHE PENNED THIS WHILE THE CAR WAS
TOOLING DOWN THE BOULEVARD
OR IF SHE WAS SITTING MOTIONLESS
IN THE LIVING ROOM.
I love me some Carol Channing, but I am cold towards the 69-70 Electra 225's.
ReplyDeleteauntie had a gorgeous '69 lesabre convert,
Deleteso i do like them.
She is pretty hip and a good multi tasker........she was probably receiving anal when she signed this.
ReplyDeletereally? like she doesn't already leak a lot?
DeleteI have no clue who Ms Channing is. But I read in the wiki-article that she was on Nixon's list of enemies (H.S.Thompson was not on this list and he was terribly upset about it) and therefore I pull my hat and bow in respect.
ReplyDeleteThe car - again, no clue. Baby shit green is not my colour, sorry.
okay mago, not a cultural touchstone for you, we get it.
Deletejust make believe it's senta berger in a 450SL.
CAROL CHANNING IS GOD.
ReplyDeletedo you think any raspberry, i mean lemon
Deletelaws were broken in the making of this post?
I think a gang of us should buy it and go on a road trip that we could turn into a reality series, tie-in book(s), and possibly a line of action figure/fashion dolls. I know I'd pay good money for a Thombeau doll dressed in Dolly's staircase dress, or a TJB figure done up like Lorelei singing "Diamonds"...
ReplyDeleteyes, a road trip! we'll all go mr. vandergelder's way!
ReplyDeleteI don't really want the car, but I'll definitely
ReplyDeletebid on those glasses.
oh, you mean that extra windshield?
Deletesorry, it goes with the car.
Felix of Hollywood would be quite happy to pilot that barge thru Hollywood.
ReplyDeletekabuki had a 75 Caprice Convertible and a 75 450sl. guess which one made kabuki cry when he sold it.
ReplyDeleteboth? i'm crying for you.
