OBITUARIES!

WELL,  LISA MARIE DIED AND THAT GOT ME THINKING ABOUT DEATH WHICH MADE ME MENTION MY OBITUARY POSTS WHICH MADE ME GO CHECK OUT MY LATEST STASH! I WAS QUITE SURPRISED TO FIND HOW MUCH I'VE GOT IN THAT FOLDER.

DISCLAIMER: AS I'VE SAID BEFORE, I MAY BE MAKING FUN OF THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE'S NAMES OR SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR FACE OR THEIR WRITTEN OBITUARY, BUT I AM IN NO WAY CELEBRATING THEIR DEMISE.

I HOPE THEY ALL LIVED FABULOUS LIVES, SUFFERED LITTLE AND HAD GLORIOUS JOURNEYS AS THEY ASCENDED TO THEIR GLORY.

Imagine living to 67 and this is your best photo

When your name is a typo.

Wonder if that symbol was on her ID?

If you could see the dick my neighbor had you'd gasp.

What. A. Face.

Who among us hasn't . . . .

Wish her folks would've given her
a middle name like Donaldessa, or Donaldina.

  1. Norma, once again you've outdone yourself! You're too good to us. And so many Dicks!

They may have used a baby photo for Ms. Hagen (which they should have considered for Ms. Koehler) but Ms. Fraser was the real loser with that symbol. Ms. Fraser seems to have written her own obit so perhaps the symbol was her choice. But why? This will keep me up at night.

Ms. Bonesteel is referred to as Gma, Gr Gma, and GrGr Gma. I'm guessing they were cutting corners, trying to save money on this obit.

    1. As for recycling, I always thought in order to recycle anything, that symbol (with the correct number) needed to be found on the item!

As for dear Inez, I imagine she emerged from her mother
with that face, was deservedly slapped and never smiled again.

Bessie Lou Bonesteel never met a corner she didn't cut.

    2. Ms. Fraser must have opted for a green funeral, hence the recycling symbol.

    3. Yes, that's precisely why she did it. I have friends that have signed up for what she took part in. You donate your dead body to the University of Minnesota, they cut you up, slice, dice, puree, whatever, then they put whatever's left into a mass grave at a tony Minneapolis cemetery. I'm not sure if the cremate the scraps or ziplock them.

  2. I've never seen the surname "Waste" until now. And there's two of them! Are they related? Is this a common name in Minnesota? If so, why wasn't the state named "Wasteland?"

  3. Imagine going through life with that name. 😳
That's one of my reactions to many of my present (& past) honorees. I cannot understand people going through life as a Schmeckpeper, Bonesteel, Pretzel, I could go on & on, and not changing their name!

Remember, I am not a native Minnesotan, so even though I've been here a long time, I see it all through the eyes of a nasty Easterner.
